To enhance the employability of Visually Impaired (VI) youths, since 2019, Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired has been supported by LO KWEE SEONG Foundation to put forth “LO KWEE SEONG SEE JOBS” Project in the hope of assisting youths with VI in surmounting their physical limitations, developing their strengths and finding success in their work life. SEE JOBS provides pre- to post-job services to VI youths including 1) pre-job training, 2) connecting potential employers, 3) job matching, 4) inclusive employment follow-up, 5) job creation. Until the first quarter of 2024, the Project has assisted 95 visually impaired young people to be matched with 108 internships, part-time and full-time jobs, which is more than the original project goal of matching 60 jobs.
