HK Shifts Storytelling Program
Hong Kong Shifts is a social enterprise that works with schools and other organizations on human-centered storytelling programmes to promote empathy, kindness and inclusivity in our living and working communities.
The Storytelling Program for HKMA K S Lo College is a three-month program to empower secondary school students with empathy, communication and related soft skills needed to become effective and confident storytellers and caring and engaged community leaders.
Throughout the program, the students will explore storytelling techniques, enhance their oral and written communications, develop listening and dialogue skills, build empathy, resilience and confidence and practice their English language skills.
The programme participates in values focused project learning, as set out by the Education Bureau's Four Key Tasks and Key Learning Areas. In addition to the students directly enrolled, the program will also benefit the wider school community through the exhibition of the community stories on campus and provide engagement opportunities with the broader Hong Kong community.
